"Led by Cycle Up Textiles, an initiative by Roscommon Women's Network, a circular economy social enterprise focused on textile upcycling. Drop-In Repair and Upcycling session will enable participants to bring along clothing, household textiles or fabric that they would like to repair, alter or transform. With guidance from two experienced CycleUp facilitators, participants can learn simple mending techniques, repair damaged items or explore creative ways to give unwanted textiles a new purpose.
The workshop will be responsive to the materials brought on the day. Basic materials and equipment will also be provided. The drop-in format will allow participants to share ideas and learn more about textile waste, repair and circular design."
