Microgreens Workshop - Grow Your Own
Aileen Drohan from the Walton institute will facilitate a #Microgreens Workshop in Ardkeen Library at 2pm on the 22nd of July
This workshop will teach people the basics of how to plant, care for and harvest microgreens; which are nutrient-rich, young vegetable greens that are harvested early and offer intense flavours and a spectrum of nutrients.
Growing these foods at home can help reduce the climate impact of food production and food waste.
This workshop is a partnership between Europe Direct Waterford, Waterford Libraries and Walton Institute (SETU).
It is a free event, but booking is required.
